ISLAMABAD: The government must pay urgent attention to establish high frequency new Radio transmitters in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa to counter the Indian propaganda against the country.

According to reports, the existing transmitters of Radio Pakistan are absolute and their coverage area has dropped. With modern technology in play, it is necessary that the government must grant financial resources to the State broadcaster to counter the Indian propaganda, diplomatic and defence experts told this news agency.

They pointed out that while India has banned the relay of PTV telecasts through its cable operators, it cannot do so with Radio signals and Pakistan should launch new services targeted at India as freedom struggles are going on in that country.

The experts hoped that the government would pay urgent attention and take the launching of Balochi service by All India very seriously.

It is worth mentioning that on the instructions of Indian government to pressurize Pakistan by propagating situation in Balochistan, All India Radio on Friday launched a multimedia website and app of its Balochi radio service.

Officials said that the ministry of external Affairs has promised to help AIR with finance and Balochi talent to enable this propaganda service. PM Narendra Modi on Independence Day had brought up the issue of alleged Pakistani atrocities on people of Balochistan and Azad Kashmir.
