ISLAMABAD - The KSE 100-index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) turned around on Thursday and witnessed bullish trend, gaining 203.74 points, with a positive change of 0.44 per cent, closing at 46,920.46 points against 46,716.72 points on the last working day. A total of 405,178,223 shares were traded during the day compared to the trade of 332,788,304 shares the previous day whereas the price of shares stood at Rs16.509 billion against Rs11.439 billion the previous day. As many as 518 companies’ transacted shares in the stock market, 275 of them recorded gain and 222 sustained losses whereas the share price of 21 companies remained unchanged. The three top trading companies were Service Fab (R ) with a volume of 61,629,500 shares and price per share of Rs2.74, WorldCall Telecom with a volume of 44,895,500 and price per share of Rs3.32 and TRG Pak Ltd with volume of 32,299,424 and price per share of Rs176.66. Allawasaya Tex witnessed a maximum increase of Rs125.61 per share, closing at Rs 1800.54. The runner up was Bhanero Tex, the share prices of which climbed up by Rs76.50 to Rs1096.50.
