MADEJI - The menace of stray dogs has not yet been tackled by the local government department as a woman and a child were bitten and injured by a pye dog on their faces in Muhammad Murad Brohi village near here on Friday. According to details, Lal Khatoon Brohi was working in her home early morning when a pye dog entered the house and started barking at her. Her heirs further said that the dog bit her in the face, rendering her bleeding profusely. They added that the same dog again bit a child Sumair Brohi in his ear and then escaped. Their relatives rushed both of them to the Taluka Hospital here for treatment where both were provided Anti-Rabies Vaccine (ARV) and were then referred to Chandka Medical College Hospital, Larkana, for further treatment and management as this hospital has no emergency treatment facilities since beginning.
