Balochistan CM briefs PM on law and order, political situation

Chief Minister Balochistan, Nawab Ghaus Baksh Barozai called on Prime Minister Justice (R) Mir Hazar Khan Khoso at the PM's House Thursday and briefed him on the law and order situation as well as the overall political situation in the province. The Chief Minister informed the Prime Minister that election activity had stepped up in the province and the candidates were carrying out their electioneering.
The Chief Minister also informed the Prime Minister that he was in constant contact with all political parties for ensuring foolproof security arrangements.
The Prime Minister directed the Chief Minister to provide all possible security to the candidates and ensure that a conducive environment is created to ensure free, fair and credible elections.
The Chief Minister also apprised the Prime Minister on the magnitude and scale of damage caused in the province during the recent earthquake. He also informed the Prime Minister about the relief and rescue operation being carried out by the government of Balochistan.
The Prime Minister assured the Chief Minister that Federal Government will provide all possible assistance to the people affected by earthquake and directed that their rehabilitation and reconstruction work should be taken up promptly.
