Karachi - Former minister of Pakistan People Party staged protest outside the Bilawal House against denial of ticket to him.

Hundreds of supporters and workers of PPP gathered outside the Bilawal House in favour of former PPP minister Akhater Jadoon. They staged a sit-in protest and chanted slogans against the PPP policy-makers on getting him out of the election race.

Jadoon was elected from PS 89 Kimari twice called off the protest after five hours sit-in protest when party leadership assure him for the ticket.  Talking to the media, he said, “We have registered a peaceful protest and there wasn’t any incident of firing took place. Protest will be continued if authorities will not consider public demand.” When contacted, the police also declined any sort of violence during the protest.
