A man declared his niece Kari and along with his accomplices strangled her to death at Jamaldinwali near Rahim Yar Khan, while two persons died due to suffocation when they jumped into a manhole to rescue their goat which had fallen into it.

According to the case details, a resident of Jamaldinwali near Rahim Yar Khan, Sakina Bibi, stated in her complaint filed with the police that her daughter Aasia Batoll fled with a boy named Abrar a few months before who was brought back through council meeting (panchayat) system.

She added that on the day she was present in her home along with her daughter when her brother Ghulam Mustafa came to her home along with his friends Khairat Hussain, Fida Hussain and Nazeer Hussain and put a rope in Aasia’s neck and hanged her due to which she died on spot and then Ghulam Mustafea escaped from the scene along with his friends.

Police reached on the spot after being informed and took custody of the dead body and sent it to the hospital for postmortem and after postmortem they handed over the body to the family while the police registered a case against Ghulam Mustafa and three others on the complaint of Sakeena Bibi.

In another incident, as three persons entered the manhole to rescue a goat fell into it, two of them died due to suffocation and one fainted person’s condition is critical.

This incident occurred in Basti Ahmad Khan Solangi near Sadiqabad where Alamgir’s goat fell into the manhole in front of his house and to take out his goat, he descended into the manhole where his condition got worst and he started shouting and screaming on which his brother Jahangir and cousin Allah Dita also jumped into it but they also fell victim to suffocation and Alamgir died in the manhole while people of the area recovered Allah Dita and Jahangir but Allah Ditta could not make it to the hospital while Jahangir’s condition is critical and taken to the hospital in faint condition.

SDO KIDNAPED: Unknown kidnappers abducted PTCL’s SDO in the broad daylight and transferred him to some unknown place. According to the details resident of Khanpur Muhammad Kashif stated in his complaint to police that his brother in law Shafqat worked in PTCL as SDO and was deployed in Rahim Yar Khan, he left for his office but did not return home and when we tried to contact him on the cell phone, his cell phone was not responding. Shafqat was abducted by unknown kidnappers. Saddar Police Station Sadiqabad registered a kidnapping case on the complaint of Muhammad Kashif.
