ISLAMABAD - PTV and KPT played out a draw in the Patron’s Trophy Grade-II 2012-13 Group B match played here at Army Cricket Ground on Wednesday.  PTV scored 42-2 in 16 overs in their second innings before stumps were drawn. Earlier, KPT resumed their first innings on 23-1 in 4.4 overs after the second day’s play was washed out and they went on to score 245 all out in 78.1 overs. Nadeem Javed made 84 and Mansoor Ahmed 68. Immad Wasim took 4-45 while M Abbas and Hammadul Haq got two wickets each.  At Pindi Cricket Stadium, CAD and Face Fresh also played out a draw. Face Fresh, after following on, managed to bat through the day scoring 182-6 in 78 overs. M Atif made unbeaten 57 and Tayyab Rasheed made unbeaten 27. Kamran Hussain took 4-43 while Faizan Riaz got 2-91. At Diamod ground, Medicam and Army match also ended in a draw. Medicam made 70-3 in 14 overs before the match was called off. In Group C match played at Marghazar ground, PEB and Dollar East had to settle for a draw. PEB made 143-5 in 57 overs in their second innings with Shafqat Ullah scoring 77. Amjad Manzoor grabbed 3-30.  At National ground, ETPB and Candyland also played out a draw. ETPB made 226-9 in 69 overs in their second innings. Aamir Bajwa made unbeaten 53. Awais Sarfraz clinched 6-82. At Mirpur Stadium, Omar Associate outclassed Humak Engineering by nine wickets. – Staff Reporter
