LAKKI MARWAT - A female schoolteacher was killed by her husband over a minor dispute in the Mohallah Quraishyan of Lakki City on Thursday.
Lodging a preliminary report with police, the complainant told that his father Sadiq Ali quarrelled with her mother Robina Shaheen over a minor domestic dispute and then he shot at her with his pistol.
He said that his mother died instantly while his father escaped after the incident. Police said that local residents shifted the body to the Government Lakki City where it was handed over to the heirs after fulfilling medico legal formalities. They said that the deceased woman was a schoolteacher by profession.  “A case was registered against the killer under relevant section of law in Lakki Marwat Police Station and investigation has been started,” they added.
