Nawaz Sharif visit abroad gives surge to many suspicions: PTI

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesman Fawad Chaudhry has said that Nawaz Sharif visit abroad gave a surge to many suspicions.

To enquire about the ailing spouse should not turn into a way of fleeing from the country, he added.

As Nawaz Sharif left for London PTI spokesman has issued a video statement saying that following his trip it should be ensured that neither the accountability process has been suffered nor the prime accuse managed to flee.

Fawad Chaudhry while criticizing said that the time of Nawaz visit coincides with the visit of Indian Prime Minister Modi to London.

He added that necessary steps are essential pertaining to the possible flee of Nawaz from accountability. PTI spokesman further said that federal government is busy to save and give safe passage to Sharifs.

Former premier and PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz are leaving for London Wednesday morning to see Begum Kulsoom Nawaz who is under treatment for cancer.

According to the spokesman for the Sharif family, both father and daughter will stay in London for four days and come back home Sunday.

The accountability court which had twice refused to grant exemption from appearance in the under-trial references against them has set April 23 for hearing Azizia Steel Mill reference. If Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz fail to appear on the next date of hearing, they may seek exemption from appearance until their return.

The spokesman says the state of health of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz is not good and she wants her spouse and daughter to come to them. Nawaz and Maryam will fly from Lahore for London at 9 am after four months.
