According to details, crackdowns were launched against elements involved in drug business in Gulberg, Sarband, Shah Qabul, Phandu, Hayatabad, Gul Bahar, Chamkani, Shahpur and Pishtakhar police stations jurisdictions in Peshawar.
During separate actions 12 drug pushers including Naeem, Ibrahim, Adnan, Umer Hayat, Rashid, Adnan Gul, Saad, Sleman, Sittar Gula, Wahid, Saddam, Ubaidullah and Faiz Alam were arrested besides recovery of one kilogram crystal (Ice), 6.5 kilogram hashish, 500-gram heroin and weapons from their possession.
Separate cases against detainees were registered at concerned police stations and investigations were underway.
