General James T. Conway, Commander Marine Corps, United States, called on Chief of Army Staff, General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani at General Headquarters on Wednesday. The visiting dignitary remained with him for some time and discussed the matters of professional interest. According to military spokesman, General James T. Conway expressed his full support adding undoubtedly Pakistan is passing through tough circumstances due to sweeping floods. US will continue to provide timely funds for the flood affectees, he said. Sources further said that COAS during the course of the meeting with General James T. Conway discussed issues pertaining to national security, war against terrorism, defense needs etc in length.
