LAHORE - Provincial Minister for Agriculture and Irrigation, Malik Ahmad Ali has said that Punjab government is utilising all available resources for the welfare of the masses and providing relief to the citizens. He said that, as a result of inefficient policies of the federal government, people are facing the pain of loadshedding during the holy month of Ramzan, adding that the federal government continues to be insensitive to the plight of the masses.

The Minister expressed these views while talking to complainants at an Open Kutchery held to solve problems of the people, at Minar-e-Pakistan on Friday. Members National and Provincial Assembly, Muslim League workers, officers of Health, Education, Police, LDA, WASA, Local Government, Community Development, Board of Revenue and other departments were also present, alongwith men and women, in a large number who had come from Lahore and its adjoining areas.

Malik Ahmad Ali said that Punjab government has launched revolutionary programmes, worth billions of rupees, to raise standard of living of the masses.

He said, with the introduction of development projects like Green Tractor Scheme, Laptops, Self Employment Scheme, provision of buses for colleges, and installation of solar panels and bio-gas pilot projects, the province would achieve progress, prosperity and growth. He said the development projects, launched by Punjab government, have been greatly appreciated, while other provinces are also following in its footsteps.
