Bandits on the loose

SHEIKHUPURA - Armed bandits rampaged through the city, depriving various citizens of motorcycles, cellphones, cash and other valuables in separate incidents here the other day.
As per detail, unidentified dacoits barged into the house of Imran by scaling the boundary wall in Mohalla Habib Colony. They held the family members of hostage and started collecting gold ornaments, cash, cellphones and other valuables.
The culprits made off with gold ornaments, cash and other valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees after locking up the family members in a room. The local police started investigation into the incident.
In another incident, Shahzad Ahmad was deprived of his brand new motorcycle when three armed men intercepted him near Jamil Town. He was on the way to home from the market. The police are looking into the matter.
Meanwhile, three armed bandits stopped a landlord nam Din Muhammad near Ferozewattwan when he was on the way to his farmhouse.
 The bandits snatched his two wheelers besides other valuables and disappear. The Bhikhi Police registered a case against the unknown bike-snatchers.
