LAHORE : The police remained on high-alert across the provincial metropolis on the occasion of Jumatul Wida as hundreds of thousands of people offered Friday prayers amid tight security. Police sources revealed that apart from special shooters, more than 6,000 policemen were deployed around masajid and imambargahs to ensure foolproof security for the people.
