JEDDAH - People in most Middle East countries will celebrate Eidul Fitr on Sunday (tomorrow) as Shawwal moon was not sighted on Friday evening, a private TV channel reported.
Authorities in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan and Kuwait announced that the Shawwal moon has not been sighted; therefore, Eidul Fitr will be celebrated on Sunday.
According to the channel, reports said that Shawal moon has been sighted in Pakistani tribal region of Waziristan. People in Miranshah and North Waziristan will celebrate Eid today.
