ISLAMABAD  - The trend of buying ready-to-wear dresses on Eid has witnessed increase during last few years both for men and women including children garments.

Days before Eid, tailors stop making dresses for customers or charge double rates that compels people to move for boutiques, designer outlets or garment shops.

The demand for ready-to-wear apparels has boosted the business of boutiques for ladies and gents in twin cities that offer affordable prices and designs which are according to market needs. “With the start of Ramadan, tailors stop booking new orders  while majority of them demand double charges for stitching the clothes that keeps people away from buying unstitched fabrics and prepare them for Eid,” said a boutique owner at a local market.

From local apparels to imported or designer dresses, males and females mostly youngsters start selecting their Eid dresses a week before Eid while their search continues till Chand Raat, he said. Besides getting formal and casual wear from shops, females also go for designers to get exclusive outfit for their festivity.

These outlets offer attractive deals and gift offers with their products to attract more customers and earn sufficient profits on the occasion of Eid.

With few days left in Eid, popular and unknown brands also set up exclusive stalls at corners of markets while dress designers also select hotels and art galleries to display their products.

Such shows only need marketing and better display opportunities to attract maximum visitors with a variety to meet their needs of choosing perfect accessories for Eid.

Besides popular brands, home based workers including females also create Eid stuff and demonstrate their skills during Eid days, which not only bring respectful earning for them but also keep them aware of new trends according to the market needs.
