Not being a student of law seems to be a handicap in today’s political turmoil. It seems that law is being interpreted to suit ones agenda. I, along with a million other people, have not voted for PTI. Where are my political rights? What are my human rights? Am I hostage to mob rule? Why is my choice of a political party not being respected? Why am I expected to demonstrate on the streets? Why is my freedom of movement being endangered by this mob frenzy, claiming democratic rights? Would some legal expert comment and reassure me that as an individual I have some rights?
