ISLAMABAD  - Pakistan team got off to flying start in the World Junior Squash Championship team event, as they manage to win their both matches of Group-B to brighten their chances to progress into the quarterfinals in Namibia.

Pakistan team will play their last group match against Israel. Pakistan's future medal hopes Tayyab Aslam and Ali Bokahri overcome hamstring problems and played major role in both matches. In the first match, Pakistan beat hosts Namibia 3-0. Tayyab started the proceedings for Pakistan against Michle and wasted very little time to dispose off Michle with 11-4, 11-7 and 11-5 win. In the second match, Ali thrashed Le Hugo Van 11-1, 11-1 and 11-0 while in the third and last match Asim Khan beat Gerhardus Lottering 11-3, 11-3 and 11-3.

In the second group match, Pakistan outplayed Germany 3-0. Like previous match, Tayyab once again played the first match against Lucas who gave him more resistance as Tayyab won 11-8, 11-7 and 11-5 in 20 minutes. Ali was also stretched by Niklas before carving out a 12-10, 12-10 and 11-9 to give Pakistan unassailable 2-0 lead in 37 minutes. In the third and last encounter, Asim Khan beat Sean Redmen 3-0, winning the first game 11-4, second game 11-6 and third game 11-2 in 30 minutes.
