FAISALABAD: Family of a patient admitted in Faisalabad’s Allied Hospital protested after a security guard allegedly subjected them to torture.

According to details, the patient Tahir from Chiniot was brought to the hospital a few days ago. Wednesday night an argument broke out between the guard and the family after they entered the emergency ward of the hospital, apparently without permission.

The argument turned into a brawl after which the family started protesting outside the ward, claiming that the guard had subjected them to torture.

The staff of the hospital, feeling unsafe, abandoned work.  SHO Civil Line Police Station was suspended for failing to control the situation. The hospital staff later finished protesting and resumed work.
