ISLAMABAD - Quetta Region routed mighty Karachi Whites by 25 runs in the Inter Region U-19 One-Day Tournament 2018-19 round nine group-A match here at National Ground on Friday.
Batting first, Quetta were bowled out for 121 in 45.1 overs. Wahid Bangulzai scored 56 and Rasheed Ahmed 20. M Makki bagged 4-22, M Taha 2-16 and M Waqas 2-22. In reply, Karachi Whites were bundled out for 96 in 33.2 overs with M Taha slamming 26. Hussain Ahmed bagged 3-13, M Ibrahim 3-34, M Ajmal 2-15 and Junaid Khan 2-23.
At KRL Stadium, Faisalabad Region defeated Dera Murad Jamali by four wickets. Batting first, Dera Murad Jamali were bowled out for 133 in 37.1 overs with Muhammad hitting 47. M Bilal Javed claimed 3-27, Saif Ali 3-28 and Suleman Shafqat 2-31. In reply, Faisalabad achieved the target in 43.5 overs losing six wickets. M Shoaib Hassan struck unbeaten 38. Fahad Hussain captured 4-22.
At Marghazar ground, Rawalpindi crushed AJK by 10 wickets. Batting first, AJK were bundled out for 37 in 15 overs. Munir Riaz clinched 6-17 and Sheraz Khan 3-19. In Reply, Rawalpindi Region achieved the target in 15 overs with Haider Ali scoring 28.
At Diamond Ground, Fata Region outclassed Lahore Whites by 82 runs. Batting first, Fata were all out for 276 in 49.3 overs. M Aftab Alam thwarted 74, M Abbas Afridi 55 and M Ajmal 33. Danish Butt captured 4-47, Adil Sarwar 3-57 and Syed Faridoun 2-57. In reply, Lahore were all out for 194 in 46.5 overs. Hasan Dar slammed 60. Abdul Raheem grabbed 4-20 and M Wasim 3-35.
