The Chairman of Indus Basin Water Council and Chief Coordinator of World Water Assembly Hafiz Zahoor-ul-Hassan has stated in Nawa-i-Waqt of 14-12-09 that a secret branch of Indian Intelligence agency RAW had spent billions of rupees in Sindh and NWFP to activate the anti-Kalabagh lobby to ruin Pakistan through water shortage. The horrible results of that conspiracy have become evident in the stoppage of our major canals that could result in famine like conditions in Southern Punjab and adjoining areas of Sindh. The cat is out of the bag now and the government agencies must wake up to face the threat posed by India to destroy our agricultural and industrial base.
