Ittehad Ahle Sunnat Pakistan Nazim-e-Aala Maulana Muhammad Ilyas Ghuman has strongly condemned the inaction of the Punjab government in arresting the assassins of Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat Punjab chief Maulana Shamasur Rehman and called upon the government to ensure immediate arrest of the murderers. He also condemned the murders of different religious scholars in the country recently and demanded the arrest of the accused.
Addressing a press conference, he said that the Punjab government had miserably failed to arrest the accused involved in the Rawalpindi massacre and arson incident. He called upon the government to confine all the religious parties to hold their religious gatherings in the four-walls for ensuring safety of the participants and enforce the religious Code of Ethic strictly to prevent sectarian extremism.
LAWYER FORMED NEW GROUP: A leading lawyer of DBA Ch Amanullah Sandhu and his colleagues have farmed new group under the name and style of Royal Lawyers Forum.
At a recent meeting of the group, Ch Aman Ullah Sandhu was elected as Chairman while Rai Muhammad Usman was elected a President of the group. Other office-bearers elected were: Senior Vice President Qaiser Mehmood Chadhar, Vice President Malik Muhammad Asif, General Secretary Azmat Ullah Tarar, Finance Secretary Mubashar Ali Gujjar, Joint Secretary Adnan Malik and Secretary Information Shakeel Ahmad Bhutta.
