PESHAWAR - Provincial spokesman of National Youth Organisation Hasan Khan has appealed to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Parvez Khattak to speed up work on the establishment of Buner Marble city, as some conspirators want to shift this mega project to some other areas.
Talking to The Nation here on Tuesday he said that most of the marble mines are situated in Salarzi area of District Buner, where thousand of labourers are working with lack of proper facilities. He added that some of elements in the area do not want completion of this project and they are creating hurdles to shift this project to some other places. He said that the area of Salarzi deserved this right to be given a marble city to empower thousand of poor labourers in the area. He informed that there are in-sufficient facilities like schools, hospitals and other recreation facilities for the children of these labourers and this marble city would usher a new era of prosperity for the workers of marble industry.
He urged upon the provincial government to start work on this mega project and foils conspiracies of those elements who do not want development of the area.
He appealed to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan and Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to take personal interest in this matter to start work on this project.
He warned that if this project was shifted to other places beyond Salarzi area, then the poor people have rights to start protest movement.
