Thunderstorm and cold winds lashed Karachi today and decreased the temperature adding chill to the weather.

Korangi, Defence and Malir areas received hailstorm after which the temperature dropped to 10 degrees.

Amused by the weather, Karachiites made their way outside their residences and fully enjoyed themselves.

However; the hailstorm badly affected the power supply system as electricity was suspended in New Karachi, North Karachi, Malir, PCHS, Baloch Colony and Korangi areas.

The power was later restored when the rainfall came to an end.
