ISLAMABAD - The first qualifying round matches of the Pakistan Open Men’s’ Squash Championship and Chief of Air Staff (CAS) International Women Championship were played here at the Mushaf Squash Complex on Sunday.

Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) is organising these international squash events in collaboration with Pakistan Air Force and Serena Hotel with a prize purse of US$50,000and US$25,000 respectively. Besides top Pakistani players, 48 world ranking players from various countries are playing these championships. Pakistan Open has a qualifying draw of 32 players while CAS International has 16 players draw. The second qualifying round of these championships would be played today (Monday).
