The critics are embroiled in the bogus issue of the so-called 'cold war' between the President and Prime Minister. In fact, there is no difference between the two on any issue. The critics are criticising just for the sake of criticism. If the Prime Minister takes any decision keeping in view the national interest, like the issue of abolishing the task force on unemployment or lifting the ban on jobs, it is termed as a proof of differences between the two. Why are we always interested in criticising the government? Why can't we, sometimes, appreciate it for its positive steps? We have to change this behaviour if we are to make any progress as a nation. It is also essential to strengthen the democratic values in our country. -HAMZA NASIR, Lahore, February 14.
