I'm following BB's policy, says Aitzaz

ISLAMABAD - Former federal minister and Pakistan People's Party central leader Ch Aitzaz Ahsan has said that the show-cause notice has been served on him on the direction of party Co-Chairman Zardari as PPP Secretary Gen Jahangir Badar can't issue such a notice to him on his own. Talking to media persons here Wednesday, Aitzaz Ahsan, who was also the former President Supreme Court Bar Association, clearly stated that he would neither abandon the lawyers' movement nor the PPP, as he was following the policy of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto. Responding to a question, the veteran lawyer said that President Asif Ali Zardari made pledge thrice in black and white for the restoration of deposed CJ Iftikhar Ch , adding free judiciary was vital to save the country and he would never move back from lawyers' movement in any case. "I haven't seen the notice yet and would response after reading it," said Aitzaz and added that Jahangir Badar should be asked why the notice was served on him. Answering a question, former president SCBA said that the long march and sit-in would be peaceful.
