RAWALPINDI  - A Pakistan Army contingent left for United Nations mission at Darfur , Sudan on Friday. According to the ISPR statement, the contingent comprises 22 officers, nine junior commissioned officers and 214 soldiers. At present, a contingent comprising 500 troops of Pakistan Army including engineers and doctors are rendering valuable services in Darfur .
Pakistani troops are employed at United Nations peacekeeping mission in Darfur since 2008.
