ISLAMABAD - Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Dr. Nadeem ul Haq called on PM Yousuf Raza Gilani at PM’s House Friday and apprised him about various proposals regarding PSDP for the coming fiscal year and its impact on growth development and employment.
The PM directed that the coming budget should focus on maximising growth, employment and provision of services to the common people in shape of health, education and civil amenities. He stressed the need to provide more opportunities for growth and to target smaller towns for development.
The PM directed for an early presentation of proposals for the coming year, emphasizing the  commitment to make growth, development and employment as top priority. In the meeting the public enterprises reform to turn them around from their current deficit position to healthy profitable generating enterprises also came under discussion.
