Islamabad - Secretariat police have booked four persons over allegedly raping a woman forcibly in the area of Bari Imam.

According to details, a lady approached the police station and stated that four persons including Imran, Abdullah, Abid and Shahid have forcibly raped her at Bari Imam area. The police have registered a case against the accused while they are yet to be arrested. Further investigation is under way.

Meanwhile, Islamabad police have arrested 20 suspects during a search operation in various areas of the city, a police spokesman said on Tuesday.  IGP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan had directed all SDPOs and SHOs to enhance patrolling as well as checking in various areas of the city and conduct search operation at slums, Afghan habitats, under-construction buildings, workshops, bus stands and inns. Following his directions, police teams conducted search in the areas of Sector G-13, Dhoke Abbasi, Dhoke Rati, Media Town and PWD colony. They succeeded to nab 20 suspects who are being investigated further.

Furthermore, Islamabad police have arrested 10 outlaws from various areas of the city.

, besides recovering stolen car, snatched mobile phones, laptop, wine, weapons and looted items from their possession. According to details, Noon police arrested Muhammad Ilyas and recovered one 30-bore illicit pistol along with ammunition. Ramana police arrested two street criminals Umer Farooq and Wajahat and recovered snatched mobile phone and laptop from their possession. Tarnol police have arrested 3 accused Ashraf, Safeer-Ullah and Sahfiullah involved in dacoity.

Anti-Car Lifting Cell have recovered a stolen car from the possession of one Asad. Industrial Area police have arrested two accused Imdad Ali and Muhammad Shahid Jameel involved in a theft case. Sabzi Mandi police have arrested Kareemullah, Chand and Sabeh Ahmed involved in dacoity and recovered snatched mobile phone from their possession. Cases against these nabbed persons have been registered and further investigation is under way.
