LAHORE (PR) - The Japan government provides assistance worth US$ 82,282 to Ameer Begum Welfare Trust for social development project in rural areas of district Okara, Punjab.

The agreement for the project was signed here the other day at the Japanese Ambassador’s residence in Islamabad. Japan Ambassador Hiroshi Inomata and Ameer Begum Welfare Trust Chairperson Rubina Shaheen Wattoo, Ameer Begum Welfare Trust Patron-in-Chief Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo was also present at the signing ceremony.

Ameer Begum Welfare Trust will utilise the grant for the installation of six water filter plants in rural areas of District Okara (Farid Kot, Chorasta Mian Khan, Chak Ahmad Yar, Nihal Mehar, Niki Maneki and 3 SP).
