Islamabad- The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) today sought an explanation from PTI Chairman Imran Khan, over alleged embezzlement in funds of his party.

A complaint has been lodged by Akbar S Ahmed, with the ECP over alleged misappropriation of funds of the party by Khan. After an initial hearing today, the ECP sent a notice to Imran Khan and directed him to submit a reply on February 23 explaining his position over the issue.
