Stock food for two weeks, MQM asks people

KARACHI - Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) coordination committee yesterday appealed to the citizens to be very careful for the next two weeks advising them to preserve food and medicines for any untoward situation.
It was observed in a joint meeting of Karachi and London coordination committees following the predictions of MQM chief Altaf Hussain. During the meeting overall situation including the climate change, earthquake, flood and other natural calamities came under discussion. It was discussed that the MQM chief not only unfolded the conspiracies against MQM but also informed the nation about the menace of terrorism like Talbanisation and ISIS. It said that the authorities and media persons took his concern non-seriously. The meeting unanimously decided to pile up at least a fortnightly stock of medicines and foods for the nation to fight against any such untoward situation. The coordination committee also appealed to the people to be careful especially for the next two weeks and restrict their movements.
On the other hand, Rangers spokesperson in a statement said that the paramilitary force had taken notice of the elements trying to create panic among the citizens.
“LEAs are doing their duties and remain alert to secure the lives of citizens. Spokesman appealed to the citizens to have trust in Rangers and inform the force about any suspicious activities.
