Chief vows to probe ETPB land digging

LAHORE - Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) Chairman Muhammad Aftab has said that an inquiry would be initiated into the illegal earth digging in the board land in Nankana district.

He was talking to a delegation of leasee came from Nankana district.

Leasee Muhammad Irshad, Muhammad Ehsan and Talib submitted their application to chairman to probe the matter to know the real facts about the issue. They said that they had informed to the deputy administrator ETPB concerned in 2016 about the earth digging at board land. But he replied that they had instructions from their seniors to do the same. They claimed in their application that digging was made up to the 9 to 10 feet due to which locals of the area and leasee once again visited ETPB local office from where Wahab Gull, Muhammad Ishaq, yar Muhammad and Riaz Patwari visited the spot and once again said that they had directions from then Chairman Sddiqul Farooq to let the people dig the earth.

They demanded in their application to take action against the responsible and restore their allotments. Chairman has marked the application to Secretary Board for further action.
