CDA readies to make next anti-polio drive a success

ISLAMABAD - Director Health Services (DHS) Friday briefed about the operational strategy for the upcoming polio campaign in the capital city. As many as 1,31,500 children under the age of five of Islamabad city and its suburbs would be administered polio drops during this campaign.
Dr. Hassan Urooj informed the high officials of CDA while briefing a high-level meeting regarding the upcoming polio campaign by CDA. He informed that DHS has constituted 389 mobile team, 107 fixed teams and 50 transit points to administer polio drops to the children. The urban and suburban areas of Islamabad have been divided into 16 zones for the campaign. For better results, 16 zonal supervisors and 88 sector supervisors will monitor and supervise the polio teams.
