BADIN - Bilawal Bhutto Zardari lashed out at Punjab rulers for failing to protect the lives of the children.

He was addressing a public gathering at Rahuki in Badin district on the occasion of 31st death anniversary of the slain popular peasant leader Mohammad Fazil Rahu.

Bilawal said that the Punjab government had failed to arrest the accused involved in the ghastly act in Kasur where minor girl Zainab had been raped and killed but rulers were doing nothing to provide the justice to their heirs despite the ample evidences, adding that the PPP would not keep silent on such inhuman and barbaric incidents.

He said that more than 11 kids had been subjected to sexual abuse in Kasur, but the district government was sitting cross-legged over the increasing inhuman incidents. He said that Sindh government did a lot to prevent such incidents by adopting child rights policies.

He said that the ousted prime minister should ask his younger brother, Shehbaz Sharif, that why he was disqualified by the Supreme Court. Both brothers were playing a game with the people of country. He said that Sharifs would never make fool people anymore.

The PPP chairman said whenever Nawaz Sharif came to Thar, Thatta, Jacobabad and other areas made tall promises and announced the packages of billions but never bothered to keep his words or sent  even single penny from federal government. “Instead federal government was reluctant to provide the funds under NFC Award for past five years adding he said Nawaz Sharif failed to control the situations in all provinces, Gilgit and even in Kashmir.

He said even Nawaz Sharif had failed to make the effective foreign policy. He alleged that he even failed to control his brother too.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that on one hand Nawaz Sharif was crying for the justice while on other hand his brother was happy over the verdict of Hudaibiya Paper Mill. “ You were punished by the court for your corruption and those saved you last time and sent to exile Saudi Arabia are now where to be seen” he added and said that former prime  minister would  have to go to jail and face the cases against him.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also lashed out at PTI Chief Imran Khan and KP government for not delivering to the people adding he said that PTI government instead of opening any modern university was dolling out the funds to terrorists to promote their projects those who had already opposed the modernity and secular values.  He said that KP rulers did not allow the launching of the book written by Nobel Laureate Malala Yousafzai adding he said that but chief minister KP Pervez Khattak had invited the leaders of the proscribed organizations in Chief Minister House and gave them the party.

He said that on one hand Imran Khan was struggling to end corrupt while on the other hand was no ready to take action against his minister involved in the scam. He said that PTI chief would never get any political support by the help of Shah Mehmood Qureshi and some by joining hands with spent cartridges.”  The followers of Qureshi even do not vote him so what he will get for his party chief,” he added.

The PPP chairman paying glowing tributes to slain peasant leader Fazil Rahu, who had remained at forefront with her slain mother Shaheed Benazir Bhutto during the MRD (Movement for the Restoration of Democracy) during the Zia regime and said that he was assassinated on behest of dictator like his maternal grandfather late ZA Bhutto. Shaheed Fazil Rahu was axed to death by one Mohammad Fazal Chang in Golarchi town of Badin district on January 17, 9187. He said that Shaheed Fazil Rahu was among those few brave leaders, who had challenged the dictatorial rule and scarified his life for the noble cause to restore the democracy in the country.  He said Mr. Rahu like other real heroes of the country whose services and commitment with the people would never be forgotten.

Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, the president of PPP Sindh in his speech said that people of Sindh and the whole country got sick of those disqualified by the courts and vowed that PPP would trounce their opponents in the upcoming elections. He said that Federal Government was not ready to give Rs.74 billion in share of Sindh despite the repeated reminders to concerned high-ups of Government center. The Chief Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah Murad Ali Shah said that under the dynamic leadership of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would sweep the next general elections. He said that Bilawal Bhutto would visit the Baluchistan and others parts of the country to mobilize the people there.

Mohammad Ismail Rahu, the elder son of the slain leader, Shaheed Fazil Rahu, who has recently joined PPP, said his father was among those, who selflessly served the people and laid down his life fighting against the anti-democratic forces. He said that under the leadership of Bilawal Bhutto PPP sweep the elections not only in Sindh but in whole country.

Meanwhile, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari strongly condemned brutal rape and murder of a 4-years-old girl Asma in Mardan district of Khybe Pakhtunkhaw.

In a statement, the PPP chairman said that rape and murder of three innocent little girls in Mardan was a heinous crime and stressed culprits should be caught and severely punished as per law.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that innocent girls in Kasur and Mardan are being subjected to inhuman and worst atrocities by vultures adding that silence of the rulers in two provinces was an unpardonable act.

The PPP chairman said that his party would not remain quiet on molestation and rapes of the nation’s daughters anywhere and demanded immediate arrest of the butchers involved in these horrific incidents.
