Law passed to protect disqualified person is a ‘laanath’ on parliament: Imran

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan slammed parliament for allowing passing of a law which protected a disqualified person.

“When a Parliament, which must protect nation's interests, passes a person-specific law allowing a disqualified person guilty of Rs 3 billion money laundering, tax evasion, concealment of assets, forgery & perjury to become head of a political party, then such a law is a "laanath" on Parliament,” said Khan.

Khan continued stating that word ‘laanth’ is a mild world in this context.

“If any disagree with me, I challenge them to do a public poll on what people think about such a parliament. I can guarantee most will condemn it,” he said.

PTI Chairman announced that he will conduct a press conference today and asked people to “fasten their seat belts” as he will be making “explosive revelations” in his press meet.
