PESHAWAR - As many as 25 militants were killed and 12 others got injured when fighter planes pounded their hideouts in Orakzai Agency on Saturday. The security forces backed by fighter jets pounded militant hideouts in Arganju, Torsand, Dari Toti and Mandati towns of Orakzai and killed 25 militants and injured 12 others, sources informed. The security forces also destroyed eight militant hideouts in these areas, they added. The forces launched a major operation in Orakzai Agency a few months back and so far had destroyed militant hideouts in various parts of the Agency with air strikes. Hundreds of militants have been killed so far in the operation.
