SIALKOT - Gujranwala Business Centre (GBC) is successfully functioning and catering the needs of business community engaged with different trade fields. Sources in Smeda told The Nation here Saturday that Gujranwala Business Centre is a joint project of Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority, Ministry of Industries and Production and Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) and funded by Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) with an amount of Rs 98.78m while land worth Rs 50 million was provided by Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Gujranwala Business Centre is consisting of 130 stalls, which are helping the manufacturer of the Gujranwala to present and promote their products both locally and internationally. The centre was playing an instrumental role of platform and providing facilities for the promotion of industrial development and supporting entrepreneur to get more exposure for business expansion. The industrial hub of Gujranwala was in dire need of an advanced business center to promote its products under one roof. GBC is equipped with various facilities including display facility which is the core attraction of GBC. The customers visiting the display hall can see the products and also talk with the marketing representatives of the companies. GBC staff is also facilitating the business match making process, sources added.
