LAHORE With the return of international cricket in the country nowhere in sight, Pakistan is likely to return to England next summer to a triangular one-day tournament involving Sri Lanka and the host nation. According to reports, the board is in the process of arranging the one-day series in order to make up for the losses it has suffered due to the lack of international cricket in the country. PCB chairman Ijaz Butt, who is currently in London, has tabled the proposal regarding the one-day series with the England and Wales Cricket Board officials. There are good chances that Pakistan cricketers will visit England again next year to figure in the tri-series involving England and Sri Lanka. The negotiations with the concerned boards are in final stages and hopefully the visit will materialise soon, reports said.
