LAHORE - The second national surgery course organised by College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) via video conference was concluded on Saturday. This course was conducted at CPSP headquarters Karachi and seven other regional centers including Hyderabad, Multan, Faisala-bad, Lahore, Islama-bad, Peshawar and Quetta and attended by more than 200 trainee doctors attended the course. Dr Saeed Elahi, Parliamentary Secretary and Chairman CMs Task Force on Spurious Drugs, was the chief guest at the occasion. The chief guest distributed certificates among the participants of the course. While speaking on the occasion, he said CPSP was providing excellent surgeons to country. He further said government of Punjab was trying its level best to improve health department. Addressing the ceremony Prof Khalid Masood Gondal, Regional Director said that all the regional centers had been provided with video conference facility. At the conclusion of the course Prof Khalid Regional Director, Prof Aamer Zaman Khan, Dean of Surgery, CPSP, Prof Mahmood Ayyaz, Prof Khalid Javed Abid, Dr Ghulam Mustafa Arain, Dr Asghar Naqi and Dr Waris Farooqa provided hands on training the to the trainee doctors.
