Bahria University’s Raza at international conference

KARACHI (PR): Raza Abbas, Assistant Director Student Affairs Bahria University, recently represented Pakistan at the IAEVG International Conference in Guidance and Career Development held in Quebec, Canada. IAEVG is the premier global forum for career guidance where 1,250 delegates attended the conference and more than 200 symposiums, workshops, paper communications and posters were presented by scholars from more than 50 countries.

Raza presented his latest research on “Employability Skills Institutional Model of a Public University in Pakistan”. His presentation was well acknowledged by global career scholars and career practitioners and they also appreciated Bahria University’s initiative towards developing the institutionalized employability model in Pakistan.

Efforts of Pakistani community in UK lauded

LAHORE (PR): Federal Minister for Textile & Industry Abbas Khan Afridi was recently offered invitation to attend PPA Ceremony 2014 by the delegation of the Pakistan Achievement Awards UK & Europe. According to the details Marketing Chief of Pakistan Achievement Awards 2014 Salman Abrahani briefed him regarding the previous regular 5 years’ biggest PAA ceremonies by the Pakistan Achievement Awards in UK.

Federal Minister for Textile & Industry Abbas Khan Afridi has appreciated the team of the Pakistan Achievement Awards UK & Europe for regularly holding the Awards Program. While talking regarding the services of the Pakistani community abroad, the federal minister lauded their services and the services of PAA for giving identity, appreciation and bringing the Pakistani youth belonging to various spheres of life on one platform. He also lauded the efforts of the Advisory Board of PAA and in turn positive and encouraging response of the British Pakistani community at UK.

He expressed his satisfaction over the most needed love of the people living in Europe towards their motherland.

Uniform education system in KP

PESHAWAR (PR): Govt of KP is very keen to go ahead towards uniform system of education. In this connection, a consultative workshop was arranged in PC Peshawar. Representation of private and public sector was very much encouraging. During this workshop, Minister Education explained participants regarding the importance of the subject. He further elaborated the concept of uniform education system and committed to his cause. During the group work, participants explored challenges, opportunities and came up with recommendations. Minister assured to make these recommendations a part of policy reforms.
