Quetta: Two people killed in a suicide attack near Sardar Bahadur Khan Women's University at Quetta's Brewery road on late on Friday.

The suicide bomber tried entering Quetta’s Hazara town area but was stopped by security guard, said Baluchistan Home Secretary Akbar Hussain Durrani. The attacker was wearing female clothes; the interception forced the attacker, to prematurely detonate his explosives, he further said.

According to Bomb Disposal Squad officials the blast was carried out by a suicide bomber. Two men were killed in the attack, 25-year-old suicide bomber and the security guard who had intercepted the bomber. Durrani also hailed the efforts of the security guard. Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan condemns the attack and orders a report on the incident.
