Khan vows to eradicate corruption if elected

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday said that the country’s debt has soared to Rs 27,000 billion during the last 10 years.

Addressing a public gathering in Jhelum, Khan said that the corruption of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has left the country under huge debt and the burden of debt is poured on masses through inflation.

Khan said that after coming into power, his party will eradicate corruption from the country and increase income.

Launching a tirade against the PML-N head and ex-finance minister, he said that the children of Nawaz Sharif and Ishaq Dar have become billionaire, while the nation suffers.

“We will create favorable conditions for investors and taxes will be reduced,” the PTI chairman said.

Khan further accused former president and PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari of killing people in Sindh and former CM Punjab and PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif of killing people in Model Town.

Earlier addressing a rally in Gulliyat, PTI chairman Imran Khan had accused caretaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM Dost Muhammad of siding with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman Akram Khan Durrani.

He asked interim-KP CM to remain impartial and play the role that was assigned to him.

He hoped that Dost Muhammad would improve his role, however, if he remain biased, his party would raise voice.

Khan further said that after coming into power, his party will make four new tourist spots every year, adding that the condition of Galyat has immensely changed over time.
