Governor Sindh Dr. Ishratul Ibad has called a meeting of religious scholars and political parties on Friday, a private TV reported. The meetings agenda is to devise a solution to the current wave of target killings in Karachi and develop inter-sectarian fraternity. Several meetings between the governor, religious scholars and political leaders have already taken place in which the participants discussed their issues and gave their suggestions to bring an end to the sectarian violence in Karachi. The suggestions include compensating the families of target killing victims and finding the root cause of the issue. Governor Ibad also ordered the city administration to assess the issue of compensation for the victims.
