OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE Pakistan Institute of Interior Designers (PIID) organised an exhibition titled 'Spaces, having photographs of the works of different interior designers at Ejaz Art Gallery, Gulberg on Friday. On the occasion, more than 50 photographs of interior designs were put on display. The exhibition was inaugurated by famous architecture Niyyar Ali Dada while a number of other prominent personalities of the interior designing community including Rashid Rasheed, Usman Malik, Gulzar Sherpao, Shahid Abdullah, Amna Haq, Naheed Mashooq Ullah and Jahangir Sherpao were also present. About 15 interior designer companies including Daz Designs, Impact Design International, Naheed Mashooqullah Studio, Niyyar Ali Dada and Associates, Saeed Akhtar Studio, Samia Iqbal, Malik and Malik Associates and others took part in the exhibition. PIID is a community of people driven by the common love for design and working to promote interior design in Pakistan and to help design professionals to improve quality of interior environment and to assist expansion of interior design market. The institute has been working since 2001 with the aim to recognise a profession in all its diversity and give it a framework where the designers, suppliers, contractors and end-user have common ground and free access to each other. A large number of inter design professionals and students from National College of Arts, Beaconhouse National University, LUMS and others visited the exhibition. The exhibition will conclude today.
