QUETTA - Fearing he might be killed and dumped, the family members of missing person Muhammad Ramzan Baloch have appealed to the Supreme Court and humanitarian organisations for playing hectic role for the early recovery of Muhammad Ramzan. Addressing a press conference at missing persons hunger strike camp set up outside Quetta Press Club on Monday, family members of Muhammad Ramzan Baloch alleged that he was abducted by intelligence agencies from Uthal zero point area of Lasbela district on July 14, 2010.
“He was travelling to Gwadar from Awaran for work”, they said, adding, that since then they were completely unaware about his whereabouts.
They said that they adopted all means for the recovery of Ramzan by knocking the doors of court organising rallies and holding demos in Islamabad, Karachi and Quetta but all in vain.
“He was the only breadwinner of the family and since his missing they are passing through numerous crisis,” they said, adding, that the incidents of recovery of decomposed bodies of missing persons had increased manifold and whenever they heard such news it hit them like bombshell.
They appealed to the Supreme Court and human rights organisations for playing their role in early recovery of Ramzan, adding, that if he was guilty he should be produced before the court of law so that he could prove his innocence.
“If prompt steps were not taken for his recovery he might also be killed like other missing persons,” they feared.
