LAHORE - The Punjab Assembly on Monday passed a strong worded resolution categorically condemning the recent acts of terrorism in Balochistan.
The resolution was jointly moved by the Treasury and the Opposition and passed unanimously as read out by Law Minister Rana Sana Ullah.
Through the resolution, the House exhorted the federal government and the provincial government of Balochistan that in order to prevent such ghastly attacks from happening again and to foil the nefarious designs of the terrorists, those behind the Saturday’s explosions should be made an example of.
The House also registered its trauma and regret over the death of Deputy Commissioner and the nurses and prayed for the departed souls.
The House finally called for the need to permanently nip the evil of militancy in the bud.
