PIPFPD walk stresses better Pak-India ties

The Pakistan India People's Forum for Peace and Democracy (PIPFPD) arranged a peace walk to express solidarity with people who advocate peace between the both countries, here the other day. The participants insisted on starting mass level relations and trade between India and Pakistan.
The peace walk was led by PIPFPD local chapter coordinator Rana Umair Ahmad. While addressing the participants at the end of the walk at Shahbaz Chowk, Rana Umair Ahmad, Azlan Shah, Shahbaz Goraya and others urged the new Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to take solid steps to increase harmony among the governments and the people of both countries as they could prove to be very useful for each other.
JOINT PROGRAMME: An association of three NGOs will arrange the inauguration ceremony of a joint programme "Voice and Accountability" that will start here on Tuesday (today).
According to a press release, under the banner of South Asia Partnership Pakistan, three NGOs - Aurat Foundation, Strengthening Participatory Organization and Sung will start a programme here and the main agenda of the association is to bridge the gap between the health and education sector institutions and the public through the programme.
