ISLAMABAD - Ravi Football Club edged out Islamabad FC 2-1 in the Ghauri Football Challenge Cup 2013 match played here at H-9 Degree College for Men Football Ground. Islamabad FC took the early lead through Nauman in the seventh minute of the first half. It was like an eye-opener for Ravi FC, who started to play with more freedom and controlled the ball well, their tactics paid off in the 27th minute when Abbas scored from the free kick to level the things. The first half ended with both teams locked at 1-1. The second half started on a high note as Ravi FC strikers created chance one after another and finally succeed in breaking the deadlock as Ameeka scored the second goal in the 65th minute, which was enough for his team to complete a 2-1 hard-fought victory. –Staff Reporter
